Meet Our Team 

Dr Sengupta graduated from the acclaimed University of Adelaide and is the founder of Port Smiles. 

His unique empathy and communication skills with patients allows them to feel comfortable in all appointments. This coupled with his local and international continuing education in all aspects of dentistry, provides the patient with the optimal dental results. 

Dr Sengupta has special interests in dental implants, fixed braces, Invisalign, Cerec, Cosmetic Dentistry and Nervous Patients.

When he is not at the practice, you can find him fishing in the beautiful waters of the Mid North Coast with his family. 

Dr Rachel graduated from the prestigious University of Melbourne and joined the team at Port Smiles. 

She enjoys treating all aspects of dentistry, with particular interest in Emergency dental care and relief of pain. Dr Rachel calming demeanour makes her a natural to treat anxiety for patients of all ages. Her meticulous and patient centred approach to dentistry complements the latest dental techniques and technology Port Smiles has to offer.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys the beautiful beaches of the mid north coast and her fitness.

Karen is a part of the dental hygiene and maintenance team at Port Smiles Dental. She is passionate about empowering healthy mouths and vibrant smiles, so that you can keep your smile long term.

As part of the Port Smiles Dental team, Karen works with the dentists to maintain your oral health using gold standard protocols in clinical care. Her attention to detail and preventive focus empowers her patients to achieve and maintain their optimal oral health. Her jovial nature, and calm demeanour makes her patients feel calm at all types of appointments.

In her downtime, Karen is passionate about volunteer work and travelling.

Dr Vivian graduated from the renowned University of Sydney and joined the team at Port Smiles.

She prides herself in her gentle, patient centered approach to dentistry, and enjoys attending courses to stay up to date with the latest technology in dentistry. Her aim is to maximize patient comfort and treatment success. She thoroughly enjoys treating nervous patients, adults & children, and is passionate about educating her patients on the importance of their oral health.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Vivian enjoys the local beaches along with all the outdoor lifestyle that the Mid North Coast has to offer.
